Generality
The possible use of electrophoretic painting by dipping is multiple. Particularly in the automobile industry, was the application of this surface protection promoted.
Through the particular quality of this procedure, all surfaces at the work piece are regular painted, also cavities as well capillary openings with overlaps. Through it, this painting application, offers an excellent corrosion protection.
Salt fog and environmental tests in the test chamber, bring substantially best values in comparison to the conventional painting. Special advantages lie with the environmental protection, in the thrifty lacquer consumption, in the reproducibility, and at the end in an advantageous price to performance ratio.

Application
The procedure finds application as:

Technical procedure
The cathode (KTL)
dipping varnishing is a paint method that resembles strongly the principle of the galvanic processing. In the watery lacquer bath, the work piece is connected by cathodes to the direct current. Under tension, the colloidal lacquer parts hike to the work piece, and settle after taken place electro-osmotic process, water-insoluble and very even.
In the subsequent oven, the applied lacquer coating is baked.

Maximum dimensions of the pieces H 750mm L 450mm D 350mm

Qualitative standard
Resistance to corrosion, 28 days of alternate climate in the chamber for dry corrosion test according to DIN 50017
250 hours salt spray test in the salt spray chamber according to DIN 50021
Liability of the lacquer coating by grid slice test according to DIN 53151 type 295
Overpainted according to DIN 53221 paragraph 6.3.1
Coating thickness measurements at 3-4 positions at the work piece
